The five conventional parameters for surface water monitoring are pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and temperature. These parameters are the basic indicators for water pollution detection. Surface water conductivity is an important parameter that reflects the quality of surface water. High conductivity may mean that the water contains a large amount of electrolyte substances, which may pose a threat to aquatic life and human health. In monitoring, conductivity detection instruments play a key role. The conductivity value can reflect other relevant parameters-the content of TDS. To detect the index value of surface water conductivity, the key goal is to detect the total ion concentration in water quality. It includes the total content of various conductivity substances such as various organic chemicals, excessive heavy metals, and residues. Conductivity is the ability of ions in water to conduct electrical current. High conductivity means there are more dissolved substances in the water, and conversely, it means the water is purer. The Conductivity Sensor can be used to accurately measure the conductivity value in surface water samples to verify the presence and extent of pollutants in surface water. The ASCK-0.1 conductivity sensor developed and produced by Daruifuno is for water quality in the conductivity range of 5~200μS/cm And designed online electrode. Of course, the conductivity range of surface water is different. Customers can choose the corresponding conductivity electrode according to the conductivity range of surface water that you want to monitor. Generally, the conductivity of natural water is between 50 and 500 μS/cm, that of clean river water is between 100 and 300 μS/cm, that of highly mineralized water can reach 500 and 1000 μS/cm, and that of industrial wastewater can exceed 1000 μS/cm.
