Dissolved Oxygen Sensor – OPD700

Dissolved oxygen refers to the concentration of oxygen molecules dissolved in water. For fish farming, the dissolved oxygen value is very important, because fish need oxygen to breathe, and the oxygen in water mainly comes from dissolved oxygen. If the dissolved oxygen in the water is insufficient, the fish will be hypoxic, leading to problems such as slow growth, decreased immunity, susceptibility to disease, and even death on a large scale. Dissolved oxygen is affected by many factors. The higher the water temperature, the less dissolved oxygen; the more biomass and activities in the water, the easier it is to deplete oxygen; the higher the concentration of organic substances in water, the easier it is to consume oxygen. Therefore, these factors need to be controlled and managed in fish farming to ensure that the dissolved oxygen value in the water is within an appropriate range. The OPD700 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor uses a titanium alloy shell, which is corrosion-resistant and is suitable for freshwater or seawater fish farming. It has a RS485 digital communication interface, automatic temperature compensation, and is a sensor specially designed for farming. We also provide online Salinity Sensor, Conductivity Sensor, Ph Sensor, Turbidity Sensor and other water quality sensors.
